Author Kellie Dawson originally wrote There’s a T-Rex in My Tummy in 2021 to help her son navigate the feelings of anxiety he was experiencing during Covid-19 lockdowns in New Zealand. He’s always been a bit of a worrier, so she wanted to write something for him so he could understand the funny feeling he gets in his tummy when he feels worried and to give him some strategies for coping with his big feelings.
